The objective of this module is to make students to understand basic system and Computing peripherals (Printer, Scanner, Networking devices), installing the system and configuring the peripherals and complaints for system trouble shooting and repairs. The students will also understand about the techniques of identification and testing of electrical load their V/A & watts, selection of a suitable UPS/Inverter , their installation and repair of dysfunctional UPS/inverter.

The module has been designed to provide an understanding of the basics of Electrical and Electronic with an introduction to various electronic active & passive components and test equipments.  The participants would be acquainted with the Electrical Hazards along with work place safety instructions and precautions that need to be taken while handling the Electrical and Electronic equipment and appliances. It covers the basic know how required to repair some of the common Electronic Home Appliances like TV and Set Top Boxes. In addition, the participants would get the knowledge about Soldering & De-soldering technique.
